Acceptance and eligibility

By using BoxPilot you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the app. BoxPilot is intended for people aged 13 or older, or any higher minimum required by their local law. If you are not legally able to accept terms independently, obtain permission from a parent or guardian. The operator name for this release is BoxPilot.

Educational scope

BoxPilot teaches a stated manual-box and closing-confirmation convention using synthetic examples and user-supplied data. It does not reproduce every historical Darvas rule and does not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice. It is not a broker, exchange, adviser, signal service or order-routing service. No real-money trades are executed. Completing a lesson, following a simulated rule or earning a positive simulated result does not demonstrate investment competence or predict future returns.

Simulation assumptions

The first version is a single-instrument, long-only cash simulation without borrowing, short selling or adding to a position. Signals are evaluated from visible closes and execute no earlier than the next tradable bar open. Fees and adverse tick slippage apply. Stops can be filled at a worse opening price after a gap, and a new position can stop out on its entry bar. Explicit zero-volume bars are non-tradable in this model; missing volume means liquidity is not modeled. The model omits order-book depth, exchange calendars, market-specific limits, taxes, corporate actions and other real-market conditions. A price-risk budget does not cap gap losses or costs.

Data and results

Built-in price sequences are original synthetic teaching data, not licensed historical quotes or evidence of market performance. Titles do not identify outcomes before a session is revealed. You are responsible for the accuracy, rights and suitability of files you import. The app validates format and numeric consistency but cannot verify the economic truth of your data. Net return, R and drawdown have the limitations shown in the app; discrete equity observations do not measure every intrabar value. No return, profit, availability or accuracy is guaranteed.

Local records and backups

The application stores records locally. Export a backup before uninstalling or changing devices. Active training exports are truncated read-only snapshots and cannot resume the original blind session. Completed sessions can retain the full dataset. Frozen versions cannot be rewritten to match later outcomes. You control exports and shares and should not include private or third-party material without permission. Device failure, storage exhaustion, deletion or uninstalling may cause loss; retain your own copies of important records.

License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the app for lawful educational purposes on compatible Apple devices. You retain rights to your own notes and imported material. The application, original lessons, question explanations, synthetic datasets, branding and interface remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Do not redistribute proprietary content as your own, attempt unauthorized access, use the app to mislead others about financial performance, infringe others’ rights or circumvent protections. Nothing restricts rights that applicable law makes nonwaivable.

Purchases and third-party services

This release has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid account or advertisements. App availability and distribution are subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Public agreement and support pages are delivered by Cloudflare Pages; their availability depends on network and hosting services. Files you export to other providers and support messages you choose to send are handled under those providers’ terms. References to external services do not imply endorsement of their content or financial suitability.

Changes, availability and termination

We may correct, update or discontinue features as permitted by applicable law. Local records may need a compatible app version to remain readable, so keep backups and review release notes. You may stop using the app at any time, delete local data and uninstall. Rights under this license may end if you materially violate these Terms, subject to any notice or remedy required by law. Provisions about intellectual property, educational limitations and accrued rights survive termination where appropriate.

Warranty and liability limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or error-free results. You bear responsibility for real-world decisions and must not rely on simulated output as advice. To the extent permitted by law, BoxPilot is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, trading loss, lost profit or data loss arising from use. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud or other mandatory protections.

Applicable protections and contact

Mandatory local consumer rights remain in effect. These Terms do not select a specific governing-law jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent allowed by law. For support or questions about these Terms, contact boxpilot@support.com and include the app version and a description without sensitive financial or personal information. The support page provides troubleshooting and data-management guidance.
